WHO ARE WE º

The Climate Consultancy is a strategy and learning partner operating within the climate economy, where policy reshapes markets, technology accelerates change, and the future of work is being redefined.

We support institutions and organisations navigating this transition as a real transformation experienced through jobs, supply chains, governance, and inequality. Working at the intersection of climate, labour, and responsible business, we translate complex signals into action. Our work combines research that informs decisions, practical tools that build institutional capacity, and convening that aligns diverse actors behind credible solutions.

Our focus spans climate resilience, green skills, decent work, and the governance required to deliver a fair transition, particularly in regions where growth, migration, and workforce change converge. We bridge ideas and implementation, turning global standards and emerging evidence into locally grounded, politically realistic, and measurable approaches.

The challenges we face are systemic and urgent.
When sustainability is embedded in strategy and skills, it becomes the most powerful driver of resilience and growth.

Ways We Can Support You

Strategy, advisory, & delivery support

We build capability where it matters: the people and institutions responsible for implementation. Training, applied learning, and workforce development that are aligned with shifting labour market demand.

Sustainability 360 is a flexible, scalable, subscription-based service that gives you instant access to expertise without the overhead of permanent hires.

Skills & Education

We help organisations design and deliver transition programmes that hold up in practice, from roadmap to operating model to stakeholder alignment.

Research & Thought Leadership

We produce insight on the future of the climate economy: AI and employment, labour market dynamics, just transition pathways, climate migration, responsible procurement, and resilient supply chains — designed to inform policy, investment, and programme design.

Community & Collective Action

We design and run spaces where business, government, and civil society can coordinate — building shared standards, practical toolkits, and momentum around solutions no one actor can deliver alone.

The Climate Club is a purpose-driven learning hub that builds the knowledge and networks professionals need for a climate-ready future.

Our Ecosystem

We draw on a community of specialists across climate, human rights, policy, education, data, and systems innovation. This model keeps our work technically rigorous and socially grounded, while letting us scale for research, programme delivery, and coalition-building.

Our Belief

The transition isn’t only an environmental challenge — it’s an economic rewrite. The question isn’t whether things will change, but who gains power, protection, and opportunity as they do. We exist to help shape a climate economy that is resilient, credible, and fair.

TCC helps organisations and individuals adapt to this new economic reality by building the systems, skills, and solutions needed for a fair, regenerative, and climate-ready economy.

Marian Fletcher, Founder of TCC

Our story

The Climate Consultancy exists to build people-centred economies that can thrive in a climate-constrained world.

The challenges we face are not technical problems to be managed on paper. They are economic and social problems shaped by power, incentives, and institutions. If we want a liveable future, we have to rethink the systems underneath our economies and workplaces, not just publish better policies about them.

That is where TCC sits: at the centre of the ecosystem. TCC works with corporates, government, academia, and non-profits to connect evidence to decision-making, align incentives across sectors, and turn fragmented effort into coordinated progress.

TCC was founded by Marian “Maz” Fletcher, whose background is in economic development at the intersection of climate, labour, and education, with training in Anthropology and Law. That mix shapes TCC’s approach: pragmatic, people-centred, and focused on how change actually happens across institutions.

TCC’s community brings this to life through collective action, giving diverse actors a seat at the table and building momentum for transformation that lasts.
