Educating the private sector and youths on the just transition
The Climate Consultancy (TCC) is currently supporting an international non-profit in the creation of a course on just transition principles.
After conducting exhaustive market research, TCC identified a gap in knowledge and is developing a curriculum that blends sustainability and human rights into the context of business strategy. with interactive elements, like workshops and discussions, focusing on ethical approaches to the green transition.
We are designing two distinct courses. The first is designed for business executives, especially in high-emission industries and the second for business and MBA students looking to take up leadership positions in the private sector.
The curriculum covers a wide range of skills and knowledge, including theoretical knowledge on just transition and human rights, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. TCC also built a robust educational framework as a complimentary tool for organisations to handle just transitions in a business context.
